LUCKY

He is indeed one lucky little guy. His owner passed away and the family was unable to care for him properly so they relinquished him to us rather than send him to a scary, noisy shelter. 

Lucky is a lovely boy. He does really well with dog-savvy children, he walks sweetly on a harness and a lead and truly enjoys his outings. Lucky does well on car rides, does not bark, plays gently, and even gets along with his foster's 4 dogs. 

Lucky is a purebred Yorkie with very long fur. He will need a Human companion totally committed to brushing him out daily and taking him in for professional grooming 4-6 x a year. Lucky came to us extremely knotted and in pain from the knots pulling on his skin when he walked. He can never be allowed to suffer like that again.

Lucky has been transitioned to a human-grade diet. He also likes raw food.

Lucky has been transitioned to a human-grade diet that avoids kibble in place of a healthy canine-specific feeding regimen.
