Chocolate Thunder is a purebred chocolate Chihuahua who found himself at a shelter and was never claimed. He is approx 1 year of age, high energy, playful, full of personality, super sweet, loving, and a true character. Chocolate weighjs 11.6 pounds and is up to date on his vaccines

What Chocolate Thunder Needs

Chocolate Thunder gets along with all the small dogs he has been in foster care with and really needs a buddy to be BFF's with. He Loves to run and play with his foster mates. Chocolate needs a committed human(s) who will love him unconditionally for the rest of his life and understand dogs are not commodities. He is only 1 year old and has already lost his original family. Chocolate Thunder requires a fenced yard for potty and folks who have time to dedicate to help him transition and learn humans can be good and he will be loved. He is a baby in training. Chocolate knows how to use a doggie door and go into a safely secured yard to potty but does not yet know how to tell you he has to go if there is no dog door, so training is required. He is smart, learns quickly and loves to please. he does well with positive reinforcement and encouragement. A breed savvy adopter would be awesome.

How to meet Chocolate Thunder

Chocolate Thunder has been transitioned to a human-grade diet that avoids kibble in place of a healthy canine-specific feeding regimen.
