A young male Chihuahua mix
Background : Wren is a sweet male chihuahua of approx. 1-year-old, who was in a bird cage (hence his name) at a flea market with a free sign on the cage. Of course, we took this sweet boy to keep him safe and to find his furever family. He is sooo happy to be safe and well-fed. This little guy is an awesome dog who will be a fabulous companion for the right person.
What Wren Needs: Wren is great with kids, and other dogs and he has not bothered the fosters cat. he is a little reticent at first, then warms up nicely and prefers to hang out on a lap and chill. We have not leash-tested him yet. he may need to be trained to a harness and lead and we can walk you through the training. wren is happy to be safe and wants everyone to know it. his personality is starting to show and he is a sweet boy.

Wren has been transitioned to a human-grade diet that avoids kibble in place of a healthy canine-specific feeding regimen. We will educate her adopters on proper diet and nutrition for him and his new buddies. To apply to adopt Wren, he has a $550.00 adoption fee.
