Background

Mimi was relinquished to the rescue because her human became homeless overnight and did not want Mimi to go to the shelter where she may not have made it out alive. Mimi is approx 11 months old and weighs 15 pounds. Mimi is a "designer breed" mix of Papillon-Schnauzer.

What Mimi Needs

Mimi needs a loving dog-savvy person who will never abandon her. She is going through so much sadness having been abandoned and is still fearful.  She was a well-pampered very loved dog. Mimi needs someone who will walk her daily, let her be a lap dog and indoor dog, have her professionally groomed 3-4 times a year and you are willing to brush her every day to keep her coat nice and untangled and keep Mimi feeling good. Mimi needs love, safety, security, and a good family to show her humans are good and she is safe for life.

How To Meet Mimi

Mimi has been transitioned to a human-grade diet that avoids kibble in place of a healthy canine-specific feeding regimen.
