Journey, A Pomeranian-Dachshund needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?
Journey Journey is approximately 8 months old. We pulled him on the day he was scheduled to be euthanized to make space for so many dogs entering the shelter. Poor baby was underweight and filthy. It seems he had been outdoors for a long time. Once we got him to safety he became a very happy little guy with a wriggly body and a voracious appetite. We have him sated now, a good weight and healthy. What Journey Needs Journey loves to go for walks and explore the neighborhood where his foster lives in Seattle. Paddington can be an only dog. He also does very well with sweet puppies or dogs smaller than him. He has likely been attacked and can feel scared and threatened by dogs larger than he is, so no dog parks or larger dogs in the home. Journey is intelligent, adventurous, loving, playful, and very sweet. he likes to be held close and to feel safe. Journey becomes attached to his human and wants to be where you are. Journey will do best with someone who works from home, is retired, or whose partners have overlapping schedules. He does not like to be left alone, he hates crates which leads us to believe he was locked up a lot. Journey is housebroken and trained to go outside every two hours.
