Here is a message from Cristo’s foster mom: “Amazing Cristo is playful, intelligent, potty trained, crate-trained, is always up for a walk or a car ride, and loves to figure out doggy puzzles with treats hidden in them. His foster Mom has lots of videos of him doing his obedience exercises, retrieving balls and tossed toys, and figuring out fairly complex puzzles in record time. He gets along well with the resident cats and the neighbor’s dogs his size but is a bit overwhelmed by the rambunctious, resident dog who tries to herd him around. it is not known how he does with young children, but feel like he would be fine with older kids that are gentle and respectful. He likes to snuggle but is a bit anxious about being picked up at first. Very agile little guy, he can easily jump into your lap by himself.”

What Cristo Needs

Cristo needs a loving person or two who will dedicate their love to him for the rest of his years and never abandon him. Take Cristo on car rides, adventures, long daily walks, and playtime in a fenced yard, and dote on him. folks who will keep him on his healthy diet, and show him humans can be good. If you have a dog friend for him he will be in 7th heaven. A dog savvy cat would make him happy as well

How to apply to adopt Cristo

Cristo has been transitioned to a human-grade diet that avoids kibble in place of a healthy canine-specific feeding regimen.
