CHIA

Is a sweet, feisty, energetic Shiba Inu-Chihuahua mix girl who was rescued from the county shelter because she had shut down in her pen.  She was shell-shocked and frightened when she arrived. Today CHIA is a confidant, playful, toy-obsessed fun-loving girl. She will need someone who is small dog savvy, especially with Chihuahuas. The Shiba Inu side gives CHIA a very independent streak. It makes for a balanced dog who is happily entertaining herself with toys when the humans are busy but will be in a lap and accepting cuddles when you sit down. CHIA will be shy or even frightened when she meets her new people. she was not well-socialized as a puppy. Once she bonds and trusts her people she loves unconditionally. introducing her to new humans should be done correctly and we can work with you on how to successfully introduce new people to her.

Chia does well in general with the dogs here, but she has not bonded with anyone, she prefers human attention and her toys so she does not require another dog. However, if there is a friendly small dog in the home, she should do well with them, if remains a bit aloof.

Chia is only 7 pounds but she is muscled and athletic. She loves to run and would do well with an agility toy set up in the yard and things to climb on. She likes to get up high, look out windows, and chew her bones up where she can look over her environment.  This little girl is special. Sheena has a lot of personality. if you love Shiba Inus but want a small compact companion, Chia may be your new BFF.

All Animals are current on Vaccinations, spayed or neutered if age appropriate, microchipped, dewormed, deflea if required, General wellness exams (with health certificates if brought in from out of state).
