Tia and Tammi

are approx 2-3-year-old sisters from Western Washington.

They were dumped together in a park and may be adopted together or separately. both girls are shy at first. Once they understand that they are safe, they will open up and start to show their sweet personalities.  once they feel safe they like to sit on laps OR lie close to you on a bed and snuggle. These girls will need a fenced yard for potty and to train to walk on leads. They are understandably scared of the outside world after their ordeal and will require an adopter(s) who have the patience and time to work with them and gently re-introduce them to the world. Having a safe fenced yard to work with them will keep them from bolting in fear as they adjust.

These sweet girls were found abandoned in a public park. Microchips led to their owners who ignored calls and a formal letter. Tia and Tammi spent weeks in a shelter huddled together frightened making it difficult to get people interested in adopting them. Rompin Paws stepped up so that they could be in a home environment and eventually find their forever family and stay together, or be adopted into two committed families. Tia and Tammi are spayed, current on their vaccines, and will be ready for new homes at the end of October. We are accepting applications now so we can make the best matches. They will do their best without any large dogs, cats, or kids. Another small friendly dog may be fine and will help them acclimate and decompress in their new home.

How to adopt Tia and Tammi

Tia and Tammi have been transitioned to a human-grade diet that avoids kibble in place of a healthy canine-specific feeding regimen. We will educate their adopters on proper diet and nutrition.

To apply to adopt these girls, they have an adoption fee of $550.00 each or $975.00 if adopted together.  All monies will be recycled to cover medical care and rescue more dogs. Please fill out the online application using this link.  Please be thorough in your answers and expound whenever possible so we get to know you and can make the best match.                                                                         https: //rompinpawsrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/
