**SUGAR**

This darling girl is a goofy lovebug. To her, everyone is a friend to be made. She loves having dog buddies to play with, so if you have a pup who needs a BFF, Sugar may be the one. Sugar's momma is only 31 pounds. Two of Sugar's siblings are low riders who resemble Lab-Bassett Hounds (adopted). Two are chocolate like their mom, and one is tan with black streaking like a little shepherd.

From Sugars' foster in Mexico: " Hi, I’m Sugar, and I sure am sweet!! I am a goofy puppy who loves interacting with people and other dogs. I am a little spastic and I keep everyone laughing! I had a bit of a rough start in life. I was abandoned with my mama and siblings and somehow got myself entangled in vines. One of my digits on my front paw had to be amputated, but that hasn’t stopped me from living my best life, even if sometimes I have to hop to get around. I would be great in a low- to medium-energy house, and a small yard would be perfect. I tend to tire a little more quickly than my siblings. I am crate-trained and housebroken, except at night. I am still too young to hold my pee for very long and will need to be let out before you go to bed, or I will go in my crate.

Sugar is in a foster home. She is spayed and up to date on her vaccines.

Adopting Sugar:  Please use the link below to apply. One of our volunteers will review the application and call to follow up with questions, answer yours, and see if you are a match for this pup. The next step is a meet and greet if a match can be made. Please use a computer, as tablets and cell phones will drop the application. Pemba has been transitioned to a human-grade diet that avoids kibble instead of a healthy canine-specific feeding regimen. We will educate her adopters on proper diet and nutrition.  Sugar has a $495.00 adoption fee. All monies will be recycled to cover medical care and rescue more dogs. Please fill out the online application using this link. Please be thorough in your answers and expound whenever possible so we can get to know you and make the best match.  https://rompinpawsrescue.com
