**LEOPOLD** I am a gentle and loving Chihuahua-Poodle mix who enjoys taking things slowly. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might take some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend! Leo is approximately 4-5 years old, neutered, and up to date on his vaccines. Leo was in foster care and did fabulously with the foster's older, small dog. Leo is open, curious, loving, and shy. Leo is now at The Rescue Ranch in Arlington and is having a blast running the yard with his little buddy Negrita in the play yard and hanging out in the sunshine. He came to us underweight, but loves his Human-Grade dog food and is gaining muscle and is almost his perfect weight. Leo likes to be held. He loves being talked to and told what a good boy he is. Leo was wary at first and has shown signs of having been abused. When he understands you will not harm him, Leo will blossom and seek out love, attention, and being held. Leo is all of 7 pounds. He adores having a little buddy to play with, share a bed and chase around the yard. Leo is housebroken, understands commands and the word "no" and stops before getting hurt or into trouble. he is attentive and wants so much to be someones forever loving pup.
