 Maxx's Story...

Maxx (*(formerly Jaxx, he likes Massimo Maxx better) was returned when the people who adopted him realized two things. They have too many stairs in their house, and they are away too many hours a day to give him the love and attention he needs.  They had this to say about Maxx.

" He would be much better with a family or retired couple, that wants a companion dog, has a one story house, and can be with him all the time or most of the time. He would be a GREAT traveling dog to go in a motorhome or car for retired people as his wants and personality are perfect for that lifestyle."

You will not find a more unique dog then Maxx! He is a Bassador,. His personality and looks reflect both of his heretiges, but surprisingly on 6" legs! He is very friendly with  most dogs (unless they challenge him first in which case, he does not back down but can be redirected by a strong owner). He loves fetch and chew toys! He doesn't run fast because of his build but is super playful. He loves giving hugs too and wants to be a lap dog. His build does not require a tall fence, 2 and 1/2 feet even will do as long as it is sturdy enough to take his 37 pounds leaning on it or putting his paws on top while he tries to say "hi I love you"! He is getting better at housebreaking and knows how to use the doggie door now to let himself out.  He is crate trained though. We love him!

Maxx has proven to love car rides, go for long leash walks, (we recommend using a harness), hanging out with the kids in the yard and talking. He is a grunter and that just adds to his adorableness.  He loves Guys and would do really well in an all male household. he does not like to spend much time in a day alone so would do best if he could go to work with you or someone is a stay at home worker.  he would also do very well with a retired couople travelling around in an RV.
