Amber is a sweet 6 month Old Yorkie Terrier and Terrier mix. she came to us frightened after her scary stint at the kill shelter. Amber is thrilled to be out and have playmates to hang with and a warm home and bed. Amber is still growing, but we do not think she will be more than 9-10 lbs as an adult. She is a total lap dog and will fall asleep on your chest while you watch TV or relax. she likes to cuddle and be close to her human , but is not clingy. she has had food aggression issues, but with good food and nutrition and plenty for all, her issue was probably a result of too many dogs in the kennel at the shelter and she is relaxed, happy and well fed, so it is dissappating. Amber would do well as an only dog or as a second companion. she is a bit fussy about her friends and likes friendly, easy going dogs in her size range. she gets along with most males and has even made a buddy with nugget, a gorgeous larger version of her.
