Nick is a handsome, medium length soft furred guy with a white chest and speckled paws, whose eyes beg for love and kindness.

Nick spent 5 weeks in a loud shelter on  a concrete floor, his time running out. Nick is thrilled to be free and adjusting too a more quiet world and learning to love again. 

Nick loves going for long walks, smelling trees and grass and enjoying the fresh air. he has been learning to use the doggie door here at the rescue and is quite happy to see the leash come out as he knows that means a walk.  Nick loves cuddles and kisses, being brushed and having his belly rubbed. he is easy going and affectionate. he is still a bit shy, but once he goes home with someone who will love him up, he relaxes and begins to trust. with patience, he will be a loyal and loving companion.  We think his heart was broken when his owners dumped him in the shelter.  his heart needs a bit of mending and once he knows he is in his Furever place and will never be abandoned again, he will be a loyal companion as well.
