Mitch is an Incredible and unusual dog. He has a Dachshund body and a long Dachshund nose from the side and head on you can see the Staffordshire terrier in him. He has all the muscles of both a dachshund and a Staffie. He is both gorgeous and striking, he has a shiny gorgeous brown coat and a personality to boot. Mitch was in the shelter a long time, over looked in overcrowded southern California and he was out of time. Our foster agreed to take him for awhile to allow Mitch some socializing as there are three children and several dogs in the household. Mitch has had a blast playing with everyone and friending all the dogs ranging from 15-70 lbs. Mitch is an incredibly loving guy with a super personality. A cuddly boy who is also fairly high energy. part of this was from being in a small kennel for so long and part of it is his being a puppy still and a Dachshund. Mitch is curious, loves to go for walks, loves to have playtime with a doggie friend, so will make an excellent second or third dog to your companion(s). he is intelligent and learns quickly. Mitch is very athletic and will do well on hikes and long walks and would make an excellent agilty course dog. He is doing well on his potty training skills, and knows how to sit. Mitch is an all around great dog and we expect he will find his Furever home quickly.
