Tanner Tanner is a 3-4 month Old Shepard-Akita Mix Puppy. We are not sure if he is Belgian Malinois shepard or German Shepard. We do know he is ione HUGE love bucket of a puppy! Tanner is incredibly smart and loving. he will likely train easily in his dog obedience classes and make a well trained companion. Tanner gets along with all the other dogs in foster, loves attention and playing outdoors. He would make an excellent hiking and outdoors companion, a good watchdog and a great second dog if your dog needs a buddy. Tanner still needs to be house trained as he was in the shelter for awhile, but his training coming along nicely and he welcomes positive reinforcement. Tanner is up to date on shots and will be neutered before he goes home to his furever family. He is microchipped and been treated for worms and parasites. Tanner is in a foster home near our rescue and hanging out with a Golden retriever and german shepard mix. he is healthy and Happy and looks forward to meeting you. The Akita Shepard mix seems to be a deliberate design to create a good watch/guard dog. articles we read say not good with children, good with all dogs and they do shed quite a bit. They are alert, brave Quiet and NON Barkers Please note all of our dogs who will grow to be 30lbs or more must be enrolled in several dog obedience training courses and should be trained to pass the Canin Good Citizen course. Tanner will need a home and family who have a fenced in yard. a home check may be required and photo's of the fence and yard submitted with an application for approval More about Tanner, A Shepard-Akita mix PupyGood with Dogs, Good with Older/Considerate Kids Only, Good with Adults, Somewhat vocal, Requires a yard, Plays fetch, Likes to play with toys, Playful, Affectionate, Eager To Please, Intelligent, Even-tempered, Gentle, Goofy
