Kelso was pulled off the Euthanasia list in an L.A based shelter. He was brought to Washington where he could find a home and a great life. Kelso is in a foster home and is doing very well with the fosters red heeler and running the 1/2 acre property playing all day. he is ignoring the chickens but is too interested in the cats, so this boy needs a Cat Free Home. Like any heeler dog, Kelso is very intelligent and needs a job to do. he would make an excellent ranch dog, would do well in agility training and would be an awesome Hiking partner. Kelso is 6 months young sio he has all the puppy exhuberance and high energy of a heeler, he will chill out after a good workout and just loves life! Doggie training classes are a must for this boy and will keep him sharp and give him the mental stimulus he needs. While we want to see Kelso go to a home where he will receive a lot of excercise and use of his intellect, he needs to be an indoor dog when not working or playing, a family member. he loves his humans and very much needs to be a part of a loving family. Experience with the heeler breed is a plus.
